Paulo Soria grew up in Gualeguaychú, Argentina, where he discovered rally at a young age. Starting in the national championship, he quickly proved his natural talent on both gravel and tarmac.
At just 25, he made the leap to Europe — competing in the FIA European Rally Championship with Toksport WRT, one of the continent's top teams. Racing a Renault Clio Rally5, he claimed victories in Poland and Hungary, finishing runner-up in the ERC Cup by just two points.
In 2023, he became an official Renault factory driver, debuting the new Clio Rally3 — the brand's first four-wheel-drive competition car — in the ERC. Now based in Utrecht, he is making his highly anticipated return to racing at Hellendoorn Rally 2026.
The Eurol Hellendoorn Rally is the Netherlands' most spectacular motorsport event — known for passionate crowds, challenging stages, and an electric atmosphere that rivals any European rally.
